Theater’s not the only thing going on at Live Arts!
All of our spaces are a part of the Center for Contemporary Arts building shared by Lighthouse, Second Street Gallery, and Live Arts. If you’re planning on having a party or reception, hosting a meeting or a gathering, or putting on your very own show, Live Arts is the perfect place for you. If you can dream it, chances are we can make it happen!
OUR SPACES
DOWNSTAGE
Our largest space – a full sized theater with all the trimmings. While we’re often in the midst of a production of our own, the DownStage is available at least a few times a year for your performance events, larger parties and receptions, or fundraising events. When the balcony is used the Downstage can accommodate up to 200 people.
UPSTAGE
Our classic “black-box” space – totally adaptable for your event and holds up to 75 people. Dimensions: 27’x44’.
Rehearsal A
A high-ceilinged room with lots of light, a lovely wood floor, and access to the fourth-floor terrace overlooking Water Street. A favorite choice for receptions, parties, and gatherings of all kinds. Holds 50 people at tables and chairs, or up to 65 for a standing event. Dimensions: 24’x41’.
The Roof Terrace
An L-Shaped Open Air Terrace surrounds our fourth floor. Perfect as an addition to your Rehearsal A rental, or even on its own for a fab outdoor event. Total capacity of 200.
