Boards Ops and Run Crew
The backbone of any production is the technical team – and Live Arts thrives on the energy and dedication of out Board Operators, Stage Hands, Dressers, and Special Ops Forces.
Board Operators
- Operate the sound and/or light boards as needed for the production
Responsibilities
- Execute all light/sound cues as determined by the director and production staff
- Run the board for tech week and all shows
- Punctuality is a must!
- Learn to operate the board
Time Commitment
- All tech week rehearsals
- All performances
- Rehearsal viewing as determined by director
Run Crew
- Facilitate smooth operation of the production, moving set pieces or props
Responsibilities
- Be punctual, attend rehearsals as requested, attend performances, be safe, be focused, knowing your job and performing it as instructed.
Time Commitment
- Rehearsals before tech week as requested, tech week, and all productions
